What do we think?

I love Exile! I tend to forget about Exile when I list the moments I love in the series. I love how they describe the center of the earth. Although it may seem tedious to introduce Exile so early, it is necessary considering the stunt they pull in Neverseen. The flight with Sophie and Keefe on Silveny is brilliant, although I was disappointed when her wing broke. I love how we are introduced to the Black Swan for the ‘first’ time. I can’t help but laugh at the elusiveness of their answers. Others don’t agree with me, but I love how Alden broke. It introduces us to the idea of breaking and shows how Sophie has the incredible ability to heal minds. Overall, I loved Exile! Post your thoughts in the comment section below!

Okay can we just take a second…Exile’s cover is beautiful!! I think Exile is a prefect sequel to the first book. It embraces the mystery of the elvin world along with Sophie’s past. I thought it was interesting to have Sophie “malfunction” so early in the series and was something I was not expecting for the second book, but the series was originally going to a trilogy making this sudden plot understandable. I find the way we are introduced to the Black Swan so enjoyable as we still are kind of unsure if they are the good guys or bad guys. I tend to forget about the first trilogy as it shines in its own way, opposed to the second trilogy which glows like a billion stars. Generally, I think Exile is an easily forgotten book that I personally love!!
